Sheriff's office investigates backhoe theft from Union Pacific Railroad

?JACKSON COUNTY, Ill. ? The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of a backhoe during the early morning hours of Saturday, November 17.?

The theft occurred from the Union Pacific Railroad's storage building in Gorham. ?Witnesses told investigators that the backhoe was driven away from the scene, west on Neunert Road. ?

The backhoe is a 2010 John Deere, Model 310J. ?There is a Union Pacific Railroad decal on the hood.?
