Kobe and Vanessa Bryant are staying together.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar and his wife both announced on Friday on social media that they had called off their divorce.
Shortly after Vanessa posted the news on Instagram, Kobe confirmed it on Facebook less than an hour before the Lakers hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder.
?I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family,? Bryant wrote. ?When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers!?
Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce in December 2011, seeking to end a marriage that began in April 2001 and survived a sexual assault accusation against the five-time NBA champion guard. The Bryants have two daughters, Natalia and Gianna.
Kobe and Vanessa have not acted much like a divorcing couple in the past year. Vanessa and the Bryant daughters have attended many Lakers home games, waiting for Bryant to emerge from the Lakers? locker room and leaving Staples Center together.
?We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled,? Vanessa posted on Instagram. ?Our divorce action will be dismissed. We are looking forward to our future together.?
Vanessa Bryant stood by her husband when he was charged with sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman in Colorado in 2003, saying he was only guilty of ?the mistake of adultery.?
A year after the accusation, prosecutors dropped the charges because the woman did not want to go ahead with a trial.
Bryant is the fifth-leading scorer in NBA history in his 17th season with the Lakers, who drafted him in 1996. He is leading the NBA in scoring this season.
Bryant met his wife at a music video shoot in 1999, when Vanessa Laine was 18 years old. They became engaged six months later.

A decapitated crocodile lies washed up on a South African beach, leaving locals speculating about the identity of the killer.
The gruesome scene was photographed and videoed by Neale and Brigitte Cary-Smith and has quickly become an internet hit, with people wondering how the animal met its end.
Some believe the mighty croc fell victim to poachers, will others are blaming hippos and tiger sharks.

Washed up: The crocodile was found by local Brigitte Cary-Smith and her husband Neale. The couple filmed their find and posted the video on the internet

But the couple, from St Lucia, South Africa, are in no doubt - the culprit could only have been a great white shark.

In the footage Neale can be heard saying: 'You can see where the shark has actually ripped it.

The couple, who live nearby and walk their dogs on the beach every morning at sunrise, say the cleanly severed head points to a great white.
And they say poachers are not the suspects as the head and jaw are thought of as the most valuable part of the three metre-long animal.

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) ? U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, who is leading an administration review of gun safety laws, has offered to talk with any families of the Connecticut elementary school shooting victims who would like to speak with personally, a support group said Saturday.
The group, Sandy Hook Promise, has been working to help the families whose loved ones were killed in the Dec. 14 massacre of 20 first-graders and six women at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown. It said in an email to the families that it could arrange a call or put the families in touch directly with Biden's office.
"If you choose to wait a few weeks, or months, the offer is still there," the group wrote.
White House officials have said they are communicating with local groups and the families in Newtown.
"We remain in touch with families from Newtown and will present an opportunity for all of them to share their views before the president makes any decisions," White House spokesman Matt Lehrich said.
President Barack Obama pushed reducing gun violence to the top of his domestic agenda following the shooting in Newtown. Obama put Biden in charge of an administration task force and set a late January deadline for proposals.
Sandy Hook Promise co-founder Tim Makris said it passed along Biden's offer as part of its mission to aid the families.
The group, which recently changed its name from Newtown United, is holding a news conference on Monday to announce its own initiative in response to the shooting.
